I had been touring in my duo with Bekah Kelso for a couple of years prior to this release and playing many of the songs I wrote while in Velvet Hammer and Dreamtrybe. As a result these songs were taking on a new feel and needed new recordings to go with it. These are some of my favorite songs - Four Directions, Wave and Come Down and here they are revisited to capture the intimate tribal feel as they are performed with piano and percussion. Add to that some new and never before released songs and you have a collection very dear to my heart . These recordings feature my duo partner at the time Bekah Kelso on background vocals and percussion, and long time musical cohort Lynda Millard from Dreamtrybe and Velvet Hammer on additional background vocals.
