This will be a special solo appearance from yours truly. I love this beautiful magical spot. I have been here before. It's a great place to relieve some pre election jitters and relax with some fantastic musicians and activists.

There will be delicious Mexican food in a yurt catered by Lilia's Taqueria, (while it lasts, so get here before 4 if you're hungry!) crock-pots full of venison chili and soups, hot apple cider and hot cocoa, guest candidate speakers, inspirational community leaders and members, a baked goods sale, games, fire spinning, our beautiful quilt raffle (donations are required to enter the quilt raffle), a bonfire, a bardic circle, and more! Bundle up, according to the weather! (Reports currently look like it is going to be lovely out!)
This is an evening to come together to celebrate our Democracy, and have LOTS of fun doing so, while we get that last push out in reminding everyone to get to the polls and VOTE on November 5th!!!
This is very much a "Let's just get together, kick back, and have fun" kind of event. Costumes are welcome and encouraged, ('tis the season) if you feel like dressing up!
This is a family friendly event, but we will be up late enjoying the music, so please plan accordingly.
We welcome folks from all political parties to this event, with open arms.

Food and soft drinks will be provided. BYO favorite adult Beverage if you like, 21 and over, please. (Imbibe responsibly, please, and do not plan to drive, if you imbibe, unless you plan to stay nearby, overnight. If need be, we can direct you to place, and help you get there safely.)
Feel free to bring a dish if you like, to share. Also feel free to donate baked goods, for the "Gourmet Baked Goods Sale!
This is an event on private land, and we are not publishing the address, so please do contact asap, us to let us know you are coming, and how many you will be bringing.
Schedule of events, and directions will be provided to attending guests.
If you'd like to stay out here for the evening, overnight, camping may be available. (We will be having a bonfire and musical bardic-circle jam later at night, after the last performance, so bring your camping supplies, and your musical instruments and drums, if you like! There is plenty of space!) If you'd like to stay later, and cannot camp, we will be more than happy to help direct you to an affordable Air BnB or a local hotel/motel. There are several within driving distance that we can recommend.
Rolla is a 45 minute drive from us, Owensville is 30 minutes, St. Louis, about 2 hours, Springfield, 2.5 hours, and Jefferson City is 45 minutes away from our location just outside of Belle.

We only expect you to donate if you can! We will also have donation envelopes and literature tables available for the candidates to bring their materials, and CD's and merchandise available from the musical artists!
Take a day and an evening out in the country with us by the river, have some fun, celebrate, rejuvenate, rock out to some great music, and let us come together to get ready for the last few days before this country changes for the better! It takes all of us to celebrate Community and create Unity, and that means YOU, too!
